The Popularity of Home Cinema Systems
Life can be busy and action packed at the best of times, especially for families with their already overloaded schedules. So it is little wonder that more and more people are looking to make their home the centre for all their entertainment needs. Not only is it more convenient than travelling to the cinema but it is also a lot more cost effective too, especially with the rising price of tickets for the latest 3d films. It is for these reasons that media rooms and home cinemas have become increasingly popular, especially since now the technology is that much more affordable. If you are somewhat of a novice with technology then it can be difficult to know where to start when setting up your own home cinema, however there is no need to be intimidated as the process is perfectly straightforward.
It is best to pick a dark room in which to set up your home entertainment system. A basement room would be ideal; however it is entirely normal for people to set their systems up in the lounge as long as light can be adequately kept out to prevent it from reflecting off any screens.
The decision is entirely yours as to whether you wish to set up your system with the family in mind or a more realistic cinema experience in mind. People seem to be divided in their preferences so it comes down to your requirements in the end. You would be surprised at the sheer range of theatre styled seating which is available for the home. These seats can even come with a reclining action and cup holders, just like you get in the cinema. Alternatively you can create a more family-centric room with comfortable sofas instead. If you want to recreate an authentic cinema experience then perhaps you will want to give everyone their own individual seat.
When it comes to choosing the screen itself you have a vast array of technology to choose from. If you are looking to purchase a television then you have the standard flat screen LCD televisions, HDTV or even the new 3d HD flat screen TVs. It is worth taking the size of your room into consideration as a television screen which is too big may spoil the viewing experience somewhat with people’s eyes getting strained. Another good alternative would be to use an LCd projector. If this is the case then you should take care that the room is as dark as possible. If there is the chance of ambient light shining into the room then you should make a point of buying as powerful a projector as possible in order to compensate.
Although the individual components of a home cinema system are relatively expensive, the price can start to mount up you you are investing in a more elaborate setup. If you are looking to put together an entertainment system for a one off event then you may wish to consider approaching a reputable audio visual hire company who will be able to advise you on a suitable setup that will help you to save money

Make a Shop Display That Stands Out!
The digital revolution has not just been confined to the internet and world of TV. Traditional bricks and mortar shops are even getting in on the act and embracing new technology as a means of replacing the posters and banners of old. Shops which are looking to craft more elaborate window displays are starting to make use of storefront window televisions. If you are unfamiliar with the concept of such technology a window TV takes the place of all or a section of the shop storefront and turns it into a digital television screen by placing state of the art technology on top of the glass surface. This particular technology is design specifically so that it is able to reject the ambient light that shines in from the shop front and receives a digital light source from behind the screen.
Even though the technology may seem rather complicated it is in fact perfectly simple to make use of. Window TVs are used much in the same way as a window tint and once you get your head round the concept they are relatively straightforward to install and can be put up in a few minutes. All you need to do is clean the glass surface on which it is to be mounted, mark out the area on which your display is to be projected and then apply the film as directed and thats it – it’s that simple.
The applications for this technology are so wide ranging it is difficult to find a situation in which such a digital signage solution does not work well in. It acts as a particularly powerful draw for retail storefronts and creates potential opportunities for additional revenue from an existing customer base whilst attracting a new one at the same time. Not only is it an engaging means of decorating the store front, it can have wide ranging uses in store too. This technology can be mounted on curved glass or acrylic surfaces and so is capable of creating a mosaic of flying images across a surface. Once you see the product in action you begin to realise that the only limitation is your imagination. In most cases a client will use the display once and then make more window space available so that they have an excuse to make more use of it.
Rather than having a complex system of wires and leads, the light source for the display is a simple projector. As technology has become cheaper, powerful and sophisticated projectors have become extremely affordable and with the right projection resolution, your display can be utilised in even the trickiest of lighting situations. There are a wide range of projector models available on the market so you should be able to find one with an appropriate technical specification to meet your particular needs. If you are unsure as to what type of projector you should use then it could be worth approaching a projector hire company who will be able to advise you on the best equipment to rent.

Internet Marketing Strategies – What’s Working Now?
Online marketing is constantly evolving and you have to adopt new internet marketing strategies if you are looking to get consistent traffic. With the rules of search engine optimization always changing, you should look for alternative working strategies for your business. Below are some of the strategies you can adopt:
1. Pay Per Click (PPC) Marketing
In PPC, you pay to put ads in search engine or social media sites and you are charged for every unique click on the ad. This is one of the methods that will guarantee you traffic within seconds of launching the PPC campaign. However, you have to do it well or else you may burn your money. Learn search engine best practices and know the keywords your customers use to search for your product or service.
2. Social Media Marketing
Social media marketing has emerged as one of the most cost effective internet marketing strategies today. Social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Hi5, Bebo and others are good places to get targeted clients for free. These sites present you with an interactive way of communicating with target prospects and build your online brand reputation. You can make your company’s or product’s page on these sites, attend to customer queries, make announcements and so on.
3. Video Marketing
Another effective internet marketing strategy is video marketing. Here, you make a series of videos for the products that you are promoting and submit them to video sites. YouTube is the most famous and heavily trafficked video website and videos posted there usually rank well on search engines. Video marketing is also becoming increasingly important and Google, the biggest search engine in terms of market share, now shows video results for keyword searches. Make sure that you label and tag the videos with the proper keywords so that they can rank high.
4. Pay Per View (PPV) Marketing
Pay Per View (PPV) marketing is a relatively new internet marketing concept that is working for most online businesses. It is similar to PPC marketing but uses video instead of ads. Here, you make a video and put it on a PPV site. You will pay every time users click to watch the video. If you adopt this strategy, make sure you make an eye catching video that will deliver the message you want. A creative non-conventional video has the potential to go viral. Try something that goes against the norm if you want to make the video viral. I’ve personally use this strategy and would highly recommend you add it to your advertising methods.
5. Article Marketing
Article marketing is one of internet marketing strategies you should ignore at your own peril. This method works and will continue bringing traffic long after you posted your articles. Ensure that you target particular keywords that you want the articles to rank for. After writing, submit the articles to different article directories that have a high page rank (PR). Article submission will also give your website free valuable back-links that will help it to rank high in search engines.
The above 5 internet marketing strategies will bring you immense traffic when implemented in the right way. If you’re sick and tired of wasting your time and money buying and calling expensive leads and getting little to no results and you’re ready to explode your team growth the simple, fast and rejection-free way. VPN Server – Internet Anonymity Using a Virtual Private Network
A VPN server can do a lot for you as a web user. Some of the most common advantages of using a virtual private network are that data transmitted is secure and that it gives you access to different IPs while on the internet. Many people think of security or safety when talking about a VPN, but another added advantage of a VPN server is that it helps you be anonymous online. The anonymity offered by a VPN is similar to that of a proxy server and if you are familiar with how a proxy works, then you will be able to easily see the advantages of using a VPN server to be anonymous online.
Virtual private networks make you anonymous because they give you a new IP. This IP is one that is located on the VPN server that you connect to, and while you are surfing the internet your IP will be reported as that of the one on the VPN. Websites and webmasters have no way of tracking beyond the VPN. The server is as far as they can see, and this means that wherever the VPN server is, then that is where you will appear to be from. VPNs often also come with multiple IPs, and this means that with a click of a button you can rotate or change your IP to something completely different. This adds to the level of anonymity they offer, because it means that you can avoid leaving any traces by using an IP too frequently on any website that you visit.
Why would you need this kind of anonymity offered by a VPN server? It is a known fact that websites log and track user activity. If you are someone who is concerned about your personal privacy, then it is important that you make it difficult for anyone, hackers or competitors, to know about your online activities. Using multiple IPs on a VPN means that webmasters may not be aware of when you visit, why you are visiting, where you are from and what kind of information you send or share online. This is important if you use multiple accounts and don’t want anyone knowing this.
The kind of anonymity that a VPN server gives you is also comparable to that of the best kind of proxy server. There are many different kinds of proxies available today, but the best kind, called elite proxies, are completely undetectable, and this is the kind of anonymity that your VPN provides. There is no way for anyone to detect that you are using a VPN. They are completely invisible and undetectable. This means that no-one will know when you are or aren’t using your VPN online.
A VPN server can be used for a variety of reasons, but one of the most beneficial is that of being anonymous. Changing your IP to one on the VPN and having access to several different ones means that it is extremely difficult for anyone to track what you do online. In the information age, information is king and protecting yourself online is something that everyone should be concerned about.
Want your own VPN server? VPN setup is easy, and you’ll find that setting up a VPN protects you online.

Defer Network Investment by Several Years With WAN Optimization
Companies have concentrated a great deal of time and effort on the LAN (Local Area Network). This is all changing as the pressures of globalization and virtualization make companies focus more attention on the WAN (Wide Area Network).
The distance data has to travel is increasing greatly. For many businesses, the days when they accessed information from a server located in the same office building are pretty much over. Virtualization has given increased impetus to the centralization of data and applications, so data centers have sprung up to hold company information and business applications. Data and applications are now being pushed out to users in increasingly disparate branch and remote locations, while demands for mobile access are increasing almost exponentially.
At the same time, globalization means that businesses are frequently conducting operations around the world. WANs are typically spanning continents instead of a couple of states. The nature of modern, global business is 24/7 and the need for a true 24/7×365 network to support the business and users has emerged.
In short, we have massive amounts of data being pushed along long connections, to widespread locations from centralized data centers. Note, we haven’t even mentioned disaster recovery or business continuity yet, which adds a massive data burden to the mixture.
The problem is that many company networks are faced with a very real shortage of bandwidth. Bandwidth’s price is falling, but it is still expensive, and the reality is that for many, they are at the operating ceiling of their networks. This means that companies must either upgrade their network infrastructure or do much more with what they have, and this at a time when budgets are excessively constrained due to the economic situation.
WAN Optimization as the Answer
Investing in infrastructure upgrading is not required; indeed, it can be deferred by several years. The solution to bandwidth constraints and delivery of services to users is to do more with what you have. WAN optimization is the process by which the network is assessed and especially the data which is traveling along it. By controlling what data is being transmitted and in particular, allocating data priorities and eliminating chatty protocols, such as CIFS or making smart use of storing data in local cache’s, huge savings in bandwidth can be achieved. In addition, data transmission can also be greatly accelerated such that up to 90% savings in bandwidth usage can be achieved (and that is not an idle, blue-sky thinking figure).
The average payback for WAN optimization is typically between five and 13 months with no massive hardware investment to make. The results are immediate with bandwidth cost savings, but for many companies, once they have acquired freedom from bandwidth constraints, they tend to look at deploying additional business productivity tools to utilize the newly-freed bandwidth now available.
Typical deployments include establishing appropriate and effective disaster recovery and business continuity solutions; deploying a cost-saving VOIP solution as the first step in embarking on a Unified Communications strategy, and; centralizing data and applications to reduce operating costs and provide greater mobile access to users.

Immediate Cost Savings With VOIP on Business Communications
VOIP, or Voice over IP, is internet telephony but, it goes a great deal further than simply being able to make a phone call. The initial attraction for businesses with a VOIP system is that they so cheap – it is not unusual to see a cost reduction in excess of 50%, and the typical payback period is between 4 and 9 months. It is so simple to implement and easy to achieve huge operating cost savings for little capital expenditure, that the market is now being fuelled by larger companies adopting the technology as well as SMB’s who have previously led the way.
Deploying VOIP has no user barriers because over 100 million Americans are already using VOIP residential services; these are frequently tied into cable, internet and telephone bundles running over fiber. Business adoption is usually predicated on achieving substantial cost savings; however this quickly changes after adoption for many companies.
The initial advantages of VOIP do not just include cost savings; one huge benefit of running communications over your company network is that you start to free communications from the employee’s desk. Communications start to go mobile and this does not simply mean a cell phone – with a mobile wireless connection, the entire business communications tool set becomes available to staff wherever they are located, not just in the office.
VOIP provides for a feature-rich, communication experience with call waiting, voicemail, call forwarding and many other features which are either expensive or absent from traditional PBX telephony systems.
Moving on from the initial benefits of adopting VOIP, once the cost savings and other benefits are experienced, users themselves start to push for wider exploitation of the technology. Instant messaging and video communications are familiar to many Americans through their home computing infrastructure, even children are getting in on the act. IM and video are infiltrating the business sector, and some observers consider video communication to be one of the fastest growing and most important forms of business communication of the very near future.
As the need to improve business productivity and profitability continues, so does the exploitation of business communications. The typical C-level executive will use 5 or more communication devices and the typical employee will use at least 3 (desk phone, cell phone and email). One issue is how to leverage the benefits of a unified communications approach (frequently referred to as UC). A UC approach is made possible by moving telephony services off the traditional PBX exchange and onto the IP network.
Video communications become eminently feasible over an IP network, because the data used to make the call is exactly what the network is currently being used to transport anyway. The technology has also dramatically improved, such that picture resolution and call quality is crystal clear – there are no latency issues which gave a grainy resolution, start/stop juddering or lengthy pauses in the call. Now staff can engage in a face-to-face meeting without leaving their offices, and file sharing and work collaboration is simplified using the IP network.
Imagine a time when even your most mobile workers can simply take all the business communications tools provided at the office with them, wherever they are in the world. That time is now with a VOIP telephony system.

Top 10 Secrets to Making More as an Affiliate Marketer
Being a successful affiliate marketer all comes down to following a few key rules. The following are ten secrets to building a profitable online business using affiliate marketing:
1) Research the target audience. Identifying what the target audience is, what their problems are and what solutions they are interested in is vital. Never pitch products or services that are unrelated to their problems. Focus on giving them exactly what they are looking for.
2) Establish trust. Internet readers are not as stupid as many affiliate marketers believe. Once trust is lost, it is very difficult if not impossible to regain, so never try to trick or scam visitors by promoting inferior products.
3) Give in order to receive. Affiliate marketing is not about just receiving a commission. In order to receive, it is important to freely give valuable content and information to the target audience. Give them helpful, actionable information and they will usually show their appreciation by becoming a customer.
4) Be open. Visitors do not like to be tricked. Always disclose any affiliations when promoting a product; otherwise this can result in the loss of trust.
5) Split-test everything. Small differences in layout, design, color and other elements can make a huge difference in the success of an affiliate marketing campaign. Always test every element to discover what combination results in the highest conversion rates, but only change one thing at a time so that it is clear what is helping or hurting the campaign.
6) Try multiple programs. There are many different affiliate marketing programs out there, so never settle for just one. Some may offer drastically varying commission rates for similar products, and others may give affiliates access to a wealth of resources such as articles, banners and other content that helps when promoting the product or service.
7) Write content that lasts. In almost every niche, there is information that changes little if any over time. For example, dog training tips that were relevant 20 years ago are just as relevant today. Publishing high quality, timeless content is one of the best ways to maximize revenue because that content will continue to generate sales indefinitely.
Be realistic. Affiliate marketing is not about the quick sale. Successful marketers treat it like a business, and that means thinking long term, not short term. Marketers that are impatient often fail because they give up before their marketing efforts can begin producing results.
9) Evolve. It is important to always keep on top of affiliate programs as well as the needs of the audience. New products may come out that are better than those currently on the market, and the needs of the target audience may change over time. Recognizing these changes is crucial to staying relevant and being successful.
10) Focus on content above all else. Content is the foundation of any affiliate marketing campaign. Never, ever compromise the quality of content. Engaging content goes beyond making visitors more engaged and likely to return. Search engines will rank sites with well-written content higher.

Inkjet Head Design
There are two main design models of Inkjet Print Cartridge Heads, the fixed head and the disposable head. This article discusses the strengths and weaknesses of those two models.
The fixed head design sees the printer fitted with it’s own long life inbuilt print head which is designed to last the life of the printer and never need to be replaced or repaired. Known as a “gaither head” it follows the philosophy that a print head can last longer than the life of the ink in a cartridge and so why should it be replaced with it and bringing it’s cost to replacement ink cartridges. This philosophy drives the price of printer units up but printer cartridges down. Therefore the purchaser of a printer should evaluate the balancing act which should be resolved based on the volume of printing they will require from their printer and the expected life of the printer. As the head is fixed and permanent, more attention to details is applied to it’s design and it’s production, therefore the head will be more precious than a cheap disposable model and will require little or no calibration. The flip side of the argument is that if the head becomes damaged or broken then it is an expensive process to repair or replace the print head, in some cases it is not even possible to do this and so an entirely new printer would be required. Fixed head designs are available in printers designed for the home printer but are more commonly noted on high volume printers, the type used in industries such as publication. The consumer space printers utilising fixed heads are primarily Epson, HP and Canon.
The second design for printer heads is the disposable head which is not found as a fixed part in the print unit itself but is provided in each independent printer cartridge that is added to the printer. Each time the ink reservoir in a cartridge is emptied the print head will be disposed of with the cartridge and replaced with a new one. Naturally this balances the pros and cons of the fixed print head in that the cost of printer cartridges will be expensive when compared to fixed heads, however the purchase price of the printer until will reduce. Therefore the consumer should again consider the volume of printing and the number of replacement cartridges they forecast to use when deciding which model to select Also in contrast to the fixed design is that a damaged printer head is not a major problem as only the cartridge will require replacing and not the printer unit, obviously this comes at a significantly lower replacement cost. Disposable head technology is favoured by the major manufactures of printers and cartridges as the technology is too advanced for other manufactures of cheaper ink cartridges to comply with and it therefore forces “copy-cat” manufactures from the market place. Canon, as a manufacturer is a user of replacement ink heads which are designed to last the life of the printer, but they can be replaced should they be damaged or blocked with dry ink. Advantageously they can be replaced by the user with little fuss or technical ability required.
